Citola has identified 500,000+ Ha of REDD project opportunties in Brazil and is developing joint venture projects with landowners  to conserve rainforests through carbon finance.

The REDD3 Brazil Project involves the establishment of a protected area of rainforest in a region that would be increasingly under threat from deforestation under a “business as usual” scenario.  Citola is currently analysing project opportunities for carbon potential and working with several organisations and landowners  in developing the projects.
