Angus MacNee (CEO)

Angus MacNee is a co-founder of the Company and is responsible for implementing Citola’s business strategies , technology development and building revenue opportunities for the Group. Angus is experienced in driving sales, business relationships, building revenue and shareholder value for new and start-up companies. Angus holds a double  honours degree in Mechatronic Engineering (Mechanical, Robotics & Electrical) and Computer Science at the University of Melbourne. Angus is orginally from rural Australia and remains passionate about the resource sector, rural life and issues relevant to farmers, landowners, the environment and the land.

Gareth Sherlock (Director)

Gareth Sherlock has over 10 years experience working for Accenture, one of the world’s foremost business transformation consulting firms. During this time he has been exposed to a range of different sectors and business models, working for organisations as diverse as the UK National Health Service, Unilever, Wyeth, AstraZeneca, Microsoft, AMP and the Department of Human Services (Australia). Gareth has extensive experience at shaping and managing very large and complex programmes of business change. He was educated at Sydney University and the Securities Institute of Australia, and holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering (Hons) as well as a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.

John Watson (Director)

John Watson has 20 years experience in finance and funds management. John was on the global board of an Australian financial services group that turned over in excess of USD $800m in Australia, South Africa and Europe within 5 yrs of commencement. John has an LLB from the University of Western Australia and has developed an expertise in all aspects of designing and structuring financial products for retail and institutional investors.

Chris MacNee (Director)

Christopher MacNee has 30 years experience in international business and corporate development with a  strong management track record of acheiving targers.  Christopher has a thorough understanding of the mining and resource sector having worked in Australia, Russia, USA and South America.  In 1989 he founded and was the Executive Director of Soviet Technology and Resources which became Star Mining Corporation, a listed company which developed gold deposits in Russia, namely Sukhoi Log the largest proven undeveloped gold deposit in Russia.  Christopher worked in the technology sector as the Head of eBusiness at Henderson Global Investors and has started and sold several technology companies.  He continues to develop and is responsible for implementing global business strategies and revenue opportunities in the environmental, resource and technology sectors.

David Andrew (Director of Citola Resources Pty Ltd)

David Andrew is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Australia). He has over 30 years’ accountancy experience and has acted as consultant to public companies and private companies.  He specialises in the appraisal and valuation of business and companies for sales, mergers and acquisitions, and has provided general accounting, taxation and secretarial services to a large and diversified client base. He was previously Senior Partner of AFS & Associates Pty Limited.
