Accreditation

Citola in Australia will apply to be recognised as Project Manager and Reforestation Entity pursuant to the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme Bill 2010, Part 10 – Reforestation and subsequent legislation.

All processes are conducive with FSC guidelines as to "Best-Practice" Sustainable Forestry.  Citola forestry partners previously approved abatement provider under the Greenhouse Friendly™ program established by the Australian Greenhouse Office.

Citola REDD and international forestry projects are designed according to Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS) methodologies to be compliant with the VCS standards.   * Citola has liaised with the Voluntary Carbon Standard Association in developing these models.

Citola is registered the EU ETS registry, the Markit™ Environmental Registry, the NSW GGAS Registry, the Australian REC registry among others.
