Our London team is pleased to welcome Citola CEO Angus MacNee to the UK. Angus is over in Europe for a couple of weeks, and will be meeting with a number of significant investors who take in interest in the environmental space.
We’re very excited by the enthusiastic response to the Citola business proposition. Individual investors, project financing departments at major international banks, specialists in areas such as Enterprise Investment Schemes (a UK-orientated tax incentive for individual investors), venture capitalists and associations of elite “angel” investors have all demonstrated strong interest in the carbon offset space.
“The specialist skills that Citola has to offer in terms of carbon know-how, forestry management, landscape selection, and the way we package the offering financially make us a unique business proposition, and the London financial community is coming to understand this,” said Citola director, Chris MacNee. “It all means that Angus is going to have a very full diary for his London trip.”
It would be premature to go into detail of the meetings here. But we promise that we’ll bring you the news of key developments as and when we are released from our obligations to respect the confidentiality agreements that we typically have to sign. It’s very much a case of watching this space.
